In this briefing, we share our analysis of the implementation of sanctions as tools by nations to target individuals or entities involved in transnational organised crime.
We welcome international governments and CSOs to build on the information from this briefing. Ultimately, we aim to encourage the exploration of sanctions in combating human trafficking, forced labour, and modern slavery. While sanctions alone will never be enough to stop the crime, they offer an underutilised pathway worth exploring further.
