HRC’s Impact Report from 2019-2021 has now been translated into Indonesian. Whilst conducting research into forced labour and exploitation in the fishing industry and supply chain, HRC has worked closely with Indonesian fishers to gain crucial insight into the fishing industry and help combat the issues within it such as our project with the Plan International on the Indonesian Labour Supply Chain Mapping. We have also collaborated with various Indonesian associations in Taiwan such as FOSPI through our work supporting the Seafood Working Group.
This Impact Report highlights the work HRC has carried out from 2019-2021, with exploitation in the fishing industry being one of the many areas covered. The report also documented the influence HRC have had on policy decisions that have directly benefited victims and survivors of modern slavery across the globe.
