About the role
- Provide expert knowledge around modern slavery and other related issues in designated countries/regions
- Participate in consultancy projects
- Home based, working hour depending on demand

- fluency in English and (at least one of) your native language
- a Master’s level degree in international relations, development studies, international law, public policy, or other relevant majors
- extensive knowledge on issues around modern slavery in your country of origin/residence
- passion for ending human rights violations and making the world a better place
- ability to work independently as well as effectively collaborate with team members
- excellent communication skills
- a strong willingness to learn, share, and grow with the HRC team
- emotionally mature, confident, positive, and kind
What does “Pool of Consultants” mean?
“Pool of Consultants” or “Consultancy Pool” is a common and increasingly favourable way for outstanding independent consultants to seek for flexibility and control of one’s work choice while connecting with a team to increase visibility and chances for work. Consultants in the Pools are independent and are free to work with other clients and contracts. One fifth of UK’s annual £10 billion management consulting spend now goes to independents.

2. Online Assessment
We have designed a time-limited written examination to assess your skills and qualities needed for this position. The questions will also help you evaluate yourself in whether you are suitable for becoming our fellow consultant.
3. Online Interview
Candidates who passed the interview will be invited for an online interview. Around 1 in 5 people who apply to work with us are selected.
Fraud Alert: be aware of scam implying associate with HRC
HRC has been made aware of correspondences, being circulated via e-mail, from online messages and via regular mail, falsely stating that they are representing, or in association with HRC. These scams, which may seek to obtain money and/or in many cases personal details from the recipients of such correspondence, are fraudulent. HRC wishes to warn the interested candidates about these fraudulent activities.
- HRC does not charge a fee at any stage of its recruitment process (application, interview, processing, training) or other fees.
- HRC does not request private information in the recruitment process, for example, copies of passports.
