We conduct research and investigation into various forms of modern slavery, working closely with country-level experts to produce high-quality, evidence-based insights that work in the local context. Our work informs decision makers to craft a stronger response to fight modern slavery.

Our tailor-made trainings equip businesses, law enforcement, governments, and organisations with the knowledge and skills needed to combat modern slavery in their own context, whether that be in their supply chains, or in their responses to emerging trends as an authority figure.

We directly engage with survivors as partners to establish effective strategies that address prevention, protection and prosecution efforts.

Survivor-centred and worker centred
We prioritise the voices of people we care and fight for – survivors of modern slavery, and workers who are vulnerable to exploitation. We intentionally create space and bring them into our research and decision-making processes.
Localisation
To understand complex issues, we prioritise local voices, often working with grassroots organisations. In every project, we ensure that we don’t just have translators, but have team members who are from the area and speak the local languages.
Feminist approach
We value diversity and inclusion as essential assets for achieving transformative change and sustainable development. We respond to lived experiences by taking into account intersectional dimensions of discrimination and inequality.
Collaborative
We are addressing an extremely unsettling problem in our world that involves 50 million victims. We don’t believe any entity can address it alone, and that’s why we believe in a collaborative approach. We share our knowledge and publish our research diligently.
