In December 2024, HRC published a series of briefings and a comprehensive report that explores the complexities of profiling vessel owners in Taiwan to advance sustainable solutions that uphold the rights and dignity of fishers. To share the findings and foster dialogue, HRC is hosting a webinar on 13 February 2025 10:00 EST / 15:00 GMT featuring the project's researchers. This event will present the challenges faced by vessel owners, discuss the obstacles encountered during the research process, and provide insights into building a more ethical fishing industry.
