巴勒斯坦再思考：伊蘭·帕佩給台灣的演講 Reframing Palestine: Ilan Pappé in Conversation with Taiwan

如何理解巴勒斯坦和以色列的關係？台灣的角色是什麼？出生成長於以色列，流亡於英國，耿直敢言的國際知名歷史學者伊蘭‧帕佩將討論以色列大外宣的謊言、錫安主義的緣起、殖民主義等重要主題。

本場線上演講邀請台灣觀眾與知名歷史學者伊蘭・帕佩，直接對話巴勒斯坦議題。在演講前，將於5月22日與29日舉辦兩場線上讀書會，共同討論其著作《這才是以色列：揭露歷史謊言和神話底下的以色列》。6月5日的演講開放所有人參與，無論是否參加過讀書會，皆歡迎一同聆聽並與講者交流討論。活動將提供中英文同步口譯。

How should we understand the relationship between Palestine and Israel, and what role does Taiwan play? Ilan Pappé—an outspoken, renowned historian born in Israel and now exiled in the UK—will discuss Israeli propaganda, the origins of Zionism, and colonialism.

This online lecture invites Taiwanese audiences to engage directly with renowned historian Ilan Pappé on the question of Palestine. Ahead of the lecture, two online reading group sessions will be held on 22 and 29 May to discuss his book Ten Myths about Israel. The lecture on 5 June is open to all, whether or not you have joined the reading groups, and will include an opportunity for discussion with the speaker. Simultaneous interpretation in Chinese and English will be provided.
